Structure Fire - 07/02/10 - Denver, CO


 

On July 2nd, 2010 Denver firefighters extinguished an apartment fire in southwest Denver where a number of people treated for smoke inhalation. Most of the smoke-inhalation victims were treated at the scene and one was transported by ambulance. The fire started about 0800 in the Pebble Creek Apartments at 3550 South Harlan Street.

Firefighters arrived to find smoke and fire from an apartment in the complex. Fire companies forced entry into the apartment, which was unoccupied at the time of the fire and was believed to have started in the kitchen. The fire was knocked down shortly after the arrival of Denver fire units. Several adjoining apartments suffered smoke damage.
