Structure Fire - 08/15/10 - Durango, CO

The Durango Fire & Rescue Authority was dispatched to 26078 U.S. Highway 160 at 16:58 hours on August 15th, 2010 for a report of a structure fire. Firefighters arrived on the scene to find a well involved barn. Approximately 1,100 feet of 5” supply line was laid to establish a water supply.

20 firefighters had the fire under control in about 30 minutes and units remained on-scene around three hours to overhaul the building. The barn was completely gutted. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the DFRA Fire Marshal’s Office.
