Wildland Fire - 04/20/11 - Pagosa Springs, CO

On April 20th 2011, Pagosa Fire District units were dispatched to a report of a Wildland Fire on US Highway 160, just west of County Road 139. Due to the speed in which the fire was moving up-slope, Los Pinos Fire Brush 88 responded to a mutual aid request from Command at approximately 1600 hours. The fire was contained around 1800 hours, and units remained on scene into the late evening mopping-up. The fire was held to 4 acres.
