This is Dan Gerard. Dan is originally from NJ, and now resides in San Francisco. He currently works for the Alameda Fire Department as the Emergency Medical Services Coordinator. Dan spent over 20 years with Newark, NJ EMS.

As I have noted before, Dan Gerard has a true talent in doctoring photos on the computer. This creation was called “Tom’s First Day,” and it took me a few minutes to realize who was standing in the lower right of the picture.

This is Dr. Keith Holtermann, Associate Dean for Health Sciences at The George Washington University, School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He is currently on assignment to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as a Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary for Public Health, Emergency Preparedness. Keith has been in EMS for over 30 years.
