Shed Fire – 08/13/11 – Lee Acres, NM

On August 13th, 2011 at 1105 hours, San Juan County Fire District 6 (Lee Acres, NM) was dispatched to a report of a shed on fire at 24 County Road 5317. First arriving units found a fully involved shed, burning vehicles, and a spreading brush fire. Automatic aid was sent from SJCFD District 8 (Hart Valley); District 9 (Sullivan Road); and the Bloomfield Fire Department. Firefighters were quickly able to stop the forward progress of the brush fire and extinguish the burning shed and vehicles. As the scene was overhauled, the cause of the incident was being investigated by the San Juan County Fire Marshal.
