Vehicle Accident - 10/04/13 - Gettysburg, PA

A southbound car crossed the median of US 15 and struck the side of a northbound tractor-trailer on Friday, October 4th, 2013 at around 13:50 hours. Fire and EMS units from the Gettysburg Fire Department were dispatched to the crash. Firefighters arrived to find the driver of the car trapped and went to work with extracation tools to free the victim. Once the car's driver was freed from the vehicle, they airlifted the patient from the scene just north of Baltimore Pike (PA97).
