The Papermill Playhouse Fire occurred in January of 1980. This incident required a large mutual aid response before the fire was brought under control. Battalion Chief George Olson can be seen in the foreground.

Prior to purchasing the Aerial Scope, the brothers from Fort Lee, NJ Fire brought their Tower over to Millburn so members of the department could check it out. This shot from April of 1980 shows (L to R) Some Poor Guy from Fort Lee, Ed Wade, Bernie Cunningham, and Tony Thomas. They don’t seem to be using all of their fingers to wave.
